this photo is quite gorgeous
(aware that this is a rather awkward context picture... aside from that)
the curve of her back is really pretty, no?
i love the way the light highlights the slope of her back.
there are classic girl-guy undertones here. the boy takes on the typical role of protection as he wraps his arms around the girl while the girl seeks peace/solitude/whatever and huddles in his arms. the girl is in a rather frail position. her hands are relaxed while there's tension in his hands as you can see through the vein on his arm. strength versus delicacy.
something about it is really pretty. quiet. an intimate moment. a completely lost in their own world moment.
and i like that it's with the figures being vertical versus them being horizontal like they would be in a bed. it removes the focus from them being in bed to focusing upon the way that the two figures are interacting with each other. pure honesty, need, promise, satisfaction, calm.
it's rare that i find photographs that really catch my eye.
so i get really excited when i do.
on another topic... remember when we used to post songs to give some subliminal message to certain people out there? rofl. good times.

i'm currently loving sade... they're kinda old school. but the music is lovely and soothing. at least the songs i have =p
